iCare Helps prepare children at the DC General Emergency Shelter get ready for Back-to-School

Washington, DC; July - August, 2014; iCare, Inc.

During the months of July and August iCare will be collecting backpacks and school supplies for children at the DC General Emergency Shelter and local shleters in an effort to send these underpriveledged children back to school with an extra boost of encouragement and self confidence.

To culminate the Back-to-Scholl School Supply drive iCare will host a Back-to-School event at the DC General Emergency Shelter on August 24, 2014. At this event, iCare will partner with office supply chains, large retailers, hairdressers and barbers, volunteers and local ministry leaders to prepare children to return to school on August 25, 2014. iCare together with its partners will supply each child with a backpack filled with school supplies, a fresh hairstyle/haircuts, and delicious nutritious meal.
